Kalgoorlie-Boulder

Kalgoorlie, often referred to as Kalgoorlie-Boulder, is a historic city located in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. Known as the heart of the state's gold mining industry, Kalgoorlie has a rich heritage rooted in the gold rush era of the late 1800s. Today, it remains a key mining town with a vibrant community and economy driven by the extraction of gold and other minerals. The surrounding area includes the historic townsite of Boulder, and together with Kalgoorlie, they form the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, which serves as a major hub for services, education, and commerce in the Goldfields region.

The Kalgoorlie Regional Town Bus Service, operating under the brand name TransGoldfields, provides essential public transport. The service offers six town routes, with four of them running Monday to Saturday. Additionally, there are ten dedicated school routes that operate on school days. TransGoldfields is a vital part of the city's infrastructure, providing reliable transport for residents, students, and visitors, ensuring easy access to various parts of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
