Geraldton
Geraldton is a vibrant coastal city located in the Mid-West region of
Western Australia, approximately 424 kilometres north of Perth. Known for its
stunning beaches, lively maritime culture, and as a hub for regional commerce,
Geraldton serves as the seat of government for the City of Greater Geraldton.
This includes the town of Mullewa, Walkaway, and surrounding rural areas, which
were previously part of the shires of Greenough and Mullewa.
The Geraldton Regional Town Bus Service, operating under
the brand name
TransGeraldton, provides a convenient and
reliable public transport option. The service includes eight town bus routes
operating Monday to Saturday, as well as ten dedicated school routes. The
public transport network covers all suburbs, from
Drummond Cove
in the north to Tarcoola Beach in the south, ensuring easy
access to the city's amenities and key destinations.
